Pruning gaura - Knowledgebase Question

I have a whirling butterflies plant. Do I prune it back to the ground, tidy it up, or just leave it alone right now? Thanks

Once frost kills the foliage back you can prune your plant down to ground level and cover over the soil with a few inches of mulch to help protect the roots. Guara readily self-sows so you may find lots of plants popping up in the spring time. Enjoy!
