and i just got the plant yesterday so can it live in a 3 inch containe?
|Pothos is one of the easiest houseplants to grow so you've made a wise choice. They will take low light conditions but the leaf variegation will be more dramatic if they experience bright light. Water your plant when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch. Yours can probably stay in its tiny pot for only a month or so. By then it will have outgrown the pot and need larger quarters. Choose a 6" diameter potwith drainage holes on the bottom and fill it with moistened potting soil, then remove your plant from the old pot and plant it in the new one. Pothos can be fed in the spring and in the summer. Use a half strength dilution of a liquid plant food and feed every six weeks. Best wishes with your new houseplant.|
