I have two flower trees that I notice are infested with termites. Please help. Trees are stil flowering. |
Termites rarely invade healthy trees, so check the tree for signs of declining health. Pay particular attention to dead or dying branches and remove any you find. Termites build tubes out of mud to protect themselves so look around the base of the tree trunk for these brown, pencil-sized tubes. Destroy any you find. Simply removing the tube and any dead or dying branches should discourage the termites. If they're still hanging around you may need to call a pest control company to kill the pests. Wish I had more solutions to share. |
