The best way to water your plant is to apply enough water that it freely runs out of the bottom of the pot. After watering, pick up the plant so you'll know how heavy it feels when the soil is completely wet. Then wait until the top of the soil is dry to the touch before watering it again. When the top of the soil is dry, pick up the plant. If it feels light in weight, it's time to water. If it still feels heavy, you can wait a few more days before watering. Hope this helps you determine just when to water your plant.
