how can you grow more pothos plants from haveing one plant?

You can propagate your pothos by taking a cutting from your original plant. Just cut off a stem a half inch below a node (leaf scar) and put it in a glass of water. New roots will grow from the node or leaf scar. When the cutting has lots of roots you can plant it in a container filled with potting soil.
