Hi I have a cane plant, and just recently I've been finding these tiny bugs you really would think it was dry dirt, Can you tell me whats happening
thank you
What you describe sound like springtails. These tiny insects are without wings so you won't have to worry about them invading your home. They feed on decaying organic matter where there is a high moisture content, which is why you're finding them in the potting soil around your cane plant. You can control them with the use of a soil drench - either insecticidal soap or a product called Gnatrol. Either one will take care of the springtails.
