We're getting a freeze around here and I need to know if I can still plant my tomato seeds. We usually plant the first week of February. Thanks!

I know you're anxious to get outside and garden - I am, too. But, overnight freezing temperatures also mean that the ground will be cold and your tomato seeds won't germinate in such cold temperatures. How about starting your seeds indoors in trays or peat pots? If you start them indoors now, they will be ready to go outdoors in 3-4 weeks. By then all threat of frost will be gone and your little tomato plants will be happy to be outside.
