|It's too early in the season to fertilize your lawn. Wait until it begins growing in the spring. At that time it will appreciate being fed and because it is actively growing, will be able to use the fertilizer. You can apply a fertilizer with pre emergent crabgrass control in late March. Use something like Scotts with Halts. It will feed your lawn and it will stop crabgrass from germinating. Good luck with your lawn!
