i have a plum tree that has not given us amy plums for the past two years we get plenty of blossons but no plums. also how do you prun the tree and when is the best time.

Plum trees usually require a second, different cultivar of plum for good fruit set so I think if you have only one tree, you won't have fruits. I hope you can make room in your landscape for a second plum tree. Most plums are pruned in June. You can shorten the tree branches all around and then remove any misplaced branches. Simply shortening the branches will encourage new lateral branches next year, and more fruit next season, providing you plant a second plum tree. Good luck with your plums.
