My year-and-a-half yr-old Hydrangea still has its faded blooms on it from last Summer. It's mid-Feb., should I trim them off now?

You can prune them off now. While you're at it, you can prune back any extra long stems so your hydrangea has a more compact look. You should see new growth within the next 3 weeks. Enjoy your garden.
