My entry way has a triangular bed 5'x5'x8' that gets very little direct sun as it's surrounded by house & garage walls. But it's also where my dryer is vented to. What can I plant in it that will actually like those conditions?

That's quite a dilema! Most shade loving plants also like cool, moist conditions but the dryer vent will turn your shady spot into one that's hot and dry. Some plants to try include Alchemilla mollis (Lady's Mantle), Corydalis 'Purple Leaf', Camas (Cammasia quamash), Bleeding Heart (Dicentra formosa), Epimedium, Cyclamen, Dierama pulchellmum, Tiarella, Sedum spathulifolium, and False Soloman Seal (Maianthemum racemosa). Hope this short list is helpful.
