Need help filling space on my south fence - Knowledgebase Question

Fort Lauderdale, Fl

I have about 25' width of space I need to fill. I would like tropical schrubs that grow at least 10-15' tall. It would be great if these were drought tolerant since i live in south Florida. I am looking for color and also privacy.

Some of the best shrubs for your area include bottlebrush, bougainvillea, butterfly bush, Powderpuff (Calliandra haematocephala), Golden dewdrop (Duranta repens), and Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica). All will grow 12-15 tall and if routinely sheared will develop into a nice privacy fence.
