When is the proper time of the year to trim azaleas? The plant is in bloom right now, and was over the winder.I live in Pinellas County, FL. Plant gets full sun and is next to the house. I can water once a week. Thank you.

You can prune your azalea as soon as it stops blooming. It will bloom right on schedule next year. Enjoy!
