| Old potting soil can be used over and over but it tends to lose some of its nutrients as it ages. I like to mix new potting soil into the old (about 1/3 new to 2/3 old). This helps fluff it up a bit and also adds some nutrients. You can start planting in mid- to late-March. Best wishes with your container garden! |
