|I purchased 2 evergreen boxwoods from Home Depot this Fall. They are wind burned and the leaves are dry. I keep the soil moist throughout the winter, should I remove the dry leaves so that new ones will develope?

|You can lightly shear your boxwoods to remove the winter damage but wait until you start to see new growth. When new green leaves begin to appear, your boxwoods will be actively growing and will cover over the pruning cuts you make. To help prevent windburn next winter, you can spray your boxwoods with a product called Wilt-Pruf. Be sure to follow label directions. Enjoy your landscape!
