You can prune your Knock Out roses now but wait until after your azaleas bloom before pruning them. If you prune your azaleas now you'll cut off all the flower buds. After they have finished blooming prune them back right away and they will spend the summer months developing flower buds for next spring's floral display. You don't need to mulch over the tops of your spring bulbs but if you want to add mulch to the bed, spread it near, but not over the foliage. Best wishes with your garden.
