|Last late spring I planted many many bulbs, some of them with half dead plants still attached. Most of the bulbs have begun to sprout. Should I cut back the half dead growth on the old plants so they also sprout, or will they just sprout around last year's growth?

|You can carefully cut or pull away the dead foliage from last year. It will make your plants look much more attractive and the new leaves will have more room to grow. Enjoy your garden.
