When citrus is dry inside it can indicate overmaturity or a need for more water as the fruits are developing. You can feed your pomelo tree with a fertilizer formulated especially for citrus. The fertilizer label will guide you as to how much to use (it depends upon the size of the tree) and how often to feed. Be sure to water your tree deeply once or twice a week during the warm season so the fruits will have access to moisture. And, start checking the fruits for maturity in late winter. It may be that they are maturing in December and are ready to harvest then rather than in February or March. Hope this information helps!
