|This is my first year for growing Hyacinth, Tulips and Daffodils. We had a very mild winter here in North Texas and all are coming up nicely. My question is: As the flowers fade on all these plants, do I cut off the spent blooms and will they continue flowering?

|You need not cut off the spent blooms. However, if you wish to cut them off for aesthetic reasons, doing so will not hurt the plants. They will not continue to flower this season. The daffodil's foliage should die down in a few weeks and then return next winter with more blooms to follow. The tulips and hyacinth on the other hand will most likely not naturalize and repeat bloom in future years.
