We are planning a large strawberry patch, about one quarter of an acre. We don't know where to start. Is there a book or guide you could refer to us? Or tell us where to begin. Thank you.

That's a lot of strawberries! Are you going into buisiness? If so, the agricultural extension office (ph# 317/482-0750) has a small business support element that can help you with a business plan.

Good guides for fruit growers are available from Cornell Agricultural Extension at this website (see link below). There are at least a couple on strawberry production that will be useful to you. Best of luck!
