I bought a plant called "pink splash" from the supermarket. It is a small, bushy plant with green leaves that have bright pink spots all over them.

I can't seem to find any information on this plant. I want to know how to care for it (watering, soil, fertilizing, propagation, pests, etc.) If you have any information on this plant or can tell me where to look for information on this plant, I would greatly appreciate your help.

This is a selected form of hypoestes, an almost shrubby perennial from the tropics that can grow to two feet. It is quite an easy houseplant and can also be grown outdoors in semishade or shade for the summer. As a houseplant it does well in average household temperatures with moderate to bright light and average moisture, fertilize as needed with a water soluble fertilizer for foliage plants. You may trim it as needed to maintain a shape you like, and it will be denser if you do it about once a year. Eventually it will bloom, but the flowers are very small.
