|I have a garden that is about 30 feet from a corn/soybean field. My question is the year that the farmer plants corn does the corn in my garden pollenat with the field corn? My corn is usually planted about 45 ft from the field.

|Corn is wind pollinated and to absolutely avoid cross-pollination, different corn cultivars must be 400 yards apart. Your only other recourse is to plant corn that tassels two weeks before or after the corn in the adjacent field.
