Some of the popular varieties will bloom sporadically in the fall, and then at the normal time in the spring. However, those buds that opened in the fall are then spent and will not rebloom in spring. They are so floriferous that one might not notice the missing blooms in the spring, but in fact they are not truly twice blooming. Maybe one day there will be such a thing, but not yet.
