How much wildflower seed is needed to start a 1000 square foot wildflower garden?

Seeding rate varies somewhat with the species planted. Most wildflower mixes suitable to the southeastern U.S. should be planted at a rate of 1/2 pound per 1,000 square feet to get maximum results.

Thanks for the question and good luck with your wildflower patch!
