|What are there for long blooming summer perennials in colors of white, purple, red or maroon
and yellow flowers? Anything up to about 2 feet or smaller. These flowers are for around a mobile
home. Thank you!!
|Most perennials only bloom for a few weeks at most, so you will have to work with a variety of plants. Many of the smaller modern hybrid daylilies (hemerocallis), dwarf bulb lilies (lilium), bee balm (monarda), veronica, creeping phlox and dianthus come in the white to pink to red group along with some purples in shorter heights. For short yellows, you might look at coreopsis (both lanceleaf and thread leaf types) as well as Black-eyed Susan, dwarf goldenrod, and daylilies galore. Selected columbines will also come within your color range. Good luck with your project!|
