I just recently bought a house plant called Moses in the Cradle. Could you tell me how to care for it? I cannot seem to find any information on it anywhere. Does it have another name?

Your plant is probably Rhoeo discolor vittata. This plant develops green leaves with bold yellow stripes above and purple below, and small white flowers in purple boats. The boat shaped flowers are responsible for the common name Moses in the Cradle. Give the plant average household temperatures (minimum 55F in winter), bright light but no direct sun in summer, keep the soil moist during the growing season but reduce watering in the winter, mist the leaves frequently to increase humidity around the plant. When side shoots develop you can cut them off and root them to produce new plants. Repot your plant each year, replacing the soil with fresh potting soil.
