I have two young rhododendron plants 2-3 years old. This spring the bottom leaves are curling,
becoming brown and they have what appears to be a white mold on them. What should I do for them?

Rhododendrons are subject to a number of foliar problems, some due to disease and some due to other causes such as fungus. Since some of these can be rather serious, you might wish to take a sample to your County Extension (644-4455) for a definite identification of the problem and suggested remedies. In the meantime, clean up and remove and destroy any fallen leaves or twigs to try to limit possible reinfestation.
