We were watching the Gardeners Journal about a gentleman's garden in Oregon and saw this beautiful plant I am not sure of the spelling of the name. It was a container grown
tree form plant called "Tubachina" it had purple flowers and was approximately 6-8ft tall. Do you know what it is and where I can purchase one in my area.

I wonder if you are referring to Tibouchina, also called "Glory Shrub". There are many varieties of Tibouchina, the supplier below carries quite a few:

Kartuz Greenhouse, MikeKartuz@aol.com

1408 Sunset Dr. - P.O. Box 790
Vista, CA USA 92085-0790
Telephone 760-941-3613
