| Mache, or Corn Salad seeds should be sown in early spring or fall. Most will tolerate light to moderate frosts and perform best when planted in rich, well-dug soil in a sunny location. Plant growth is most vigorous when the daytime air temperatures are between 60F-70F. Sow the seeds after the summer's heat is over (late August to mid-September), sowing thickly in rows 6"-8" apart, 1/2 inch deep. Thin seedlings to about 2" apart. Hope this answers your questions! |
