The United States Mint has issued the 1997 Botanic Garden Silver Dollar, featuring our National Flower, the Rose, on the reverse (tails) and the Classic French Facade of the US Botanic Garden Conservatory on the obverse (heads). Because Canada is divided into Provinces, there are several flowers recognized. For instance, the national flower of Alberta is the Wild Rose and the national flower of BC is Dogwood.
