I have 3 Abbottswood bushes at the house we recently bought (according to the tag on the bush). How do I properly care for this bush?

Your plants are Potentilla fruticosa, or Bush Cinquefoil. They are very bushy, upright shrubs with fine leaves. 'Abbotswood' has dark bluish green foliage, a spreading habit and large white flowers which are produced over a long period. It's considered one of the best whites and will grow to about 3' tall. It's an easy to care for plant, thrives in full sun to part afternoon shade and average to poor dry soils. Prune back by one third each spring to remove old stems and keep the shrubs looking neat.
