Place the seeds in moist, not soggy, sand in a closed container or ziplock bag. Store them in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 months. Remove and plant in a rich, peaty mix, just barely covering the seeds. Moisten the mix well and cover with a clear plastic bag to hold in the moisture. Most references indicate they germinate best at slightly cool temperatures (approximately 50 degrees F).

The seeds may be slow to germinate, taking a couple of months or more, so be patient.
