What variety of sweet corn can be planted in mid-July for a fall harvest? |
If you have 90 days of frost-free growing ahead of you, you can give it a try with some fast-maturing varieties. The warm soil and temperatures will get them off to a quick start, but as temperatures cool in the fall, their growth with slow, so maturity dates aren't necessarily accurate. Try Burpee's Early Choice, Early Sunglow, Northern Xtra Sweet, and Breeder's Bicolor. Enjoy! |
