There are a multitude of shrubs and trees that provide fall color, but not as many annuals and perennials. Shrubs include Blueberry, Cotinus coggygria, most Cotoneasters, Enkianthus, Kerria japonica, Nandina domestica, Spireae and many of the Viburnums. Chrysanthemums are traditional fall-color favorites, as are Calendula, Ornamental Kale, Dianthus, Viola, Periwinkle, Coreopsis, Cosmos, Morning Glory, Phlox, Marigold and Tithonia.
