I planted some wild strawberry plants last year. They produced small strawberries. Then this summer they are not producing strawberries. The plants are healthy, are growing runners, but no fruit. Would the plants need fertilizer ?

If your strawberries are growing in full sunshine and are not overcrowded, they should flower and develop fruit. Sometimes overfertilizing will cause strawberry plants to grow lots of foliage at the expense of blooms. You can fertilize now, but don't fertilize in the spring. Hope you have a bounty of berries next year!
