Flowering Time of Rugosa Roses - Knowledgebase Question

Do Rugosa roses have to be a certain size or age before they flower? I have had them three years, they are 3 feet tall but have not flowered yet.

Your plants are certainly mature enough to flower, and rugosas generally flower freely. Make sure they're planted in full (all day) sunshine, they're watered regularly and not feed too frequently. Sometimes the best way to get a plant's attention is to prune it back a bit. Try this with your rugosas to see if they'll reward you with new flowering wood. Good luck with your roses!
