Is it possible to have a fall crop of tomatoes in the Dallas, Texas area? If so, advice on the variety and recommended planting times is greatly appreciated!

You can have a fall tomato crop in your area, but it should be planted in early to mid July to allow time for the vines to grow and mature fruit before the first frost. Choose varieties with a short day-to-harvest interval such as Early Girl, Burpees Early Pick, Medina, and perhaps Celebrity (if you get it in early enough) for best results.
