I recently have had a large cucumber harvest. Can I freeze the extra? I would like to make pickles. Do you know how or a site I can get recipes??

To be quite honest I have never thought of freezing cucumbers (I suspect they would go all mushy) but you could certainly experiment and see. Making pickles can be fairly simple as long as you follow basic safety precautions. The following site should tell you what you need to know: Your local County Extension (454-0900) may also have good information about canning and other methods of preserving produce. Enjoy!
