While visiting with my daughter in Canon City, CO., I ate some plums from her fruit tree. My question is will the Stanley Plum grown in my area?

Stanley plum is a European cultivar that will grow well in zones 4-9 (you're in USDA zone 8). It should produce well for you in your gardening zone. Stanley is self-fruitful and will not need another tree for pollination.
