I have an area that stays damp most of the time and I would like to plant something edible. It will get 1/2 day sun.
I have fairly good soil, and hope I could put in either berry plants or fruit trees, or???

Unfortunately most traditionally edible fruit bearing trees and shrubs prefer a better drained situation. You might try elderberries, however.
