How do I get rid of fungus, it is a white spot on leaf, causing the death of the leaf and final disintegration of the entire bush. |
There are any number of fungal diseases which affect azaleas and rhododendrons. Control measures include both chemical and cultural means. Unfortunately based on your description I can't give you a specific indentification of the problem. You might wish to take a sample to your County Extension (727-7850) for an exact identification and suggested fungicide to best control it. In the meantime, remove and destroy any fallen plant debris to reduce reinfection, and avoid wetting the leaves when watering. I'm sorry about your azaleas. |
