Recently all of the Jalapenos which have been growing in the garden have grub-like bugs inside. Is there any way to prevent or get rid of these in an organic manner? |
Peppers can be infested this way by several insects ranging from corn borers to pepper maggots. Unfortunately, based on your description I can't make a definite identification of the pest. You might wish to contact your County Extension for a specific identification and suggested controls. In the meantime, inspect the plants carefully and if you find any egg masses on the undersides of the foliage, remove them. |
