Ming Aralia is Polyscias fruticosa. Several types of polyscias are grown as houseplants and they all require full sun to bright light and moderately moist but not constantly wet soil. Keep temperatures above 55 degrees (ideal temperatures are between 60 and 85 degrees).

You can encourage thicker, bushier growth by pinching out just the tips of the stems. This will force new leaves and stems near the center of the plant. If your plant is leaning or twisting, it needs more light. Give it bright light but not direct sunlight.
