I see people asking you how to get rid of oleander caterpillers. However, I'm a beginner "butterfly gardener" and will happily sacrifice some leaves if that's the only problem they cause. What kind of butterflies do they turn into? |
Caterpillars can be the larvae of butterflies or moths. Without seeing the caterpillar on your oleander, it's difficult to say which is living there! Here's a website address with pictures and descriptions of both the common moth and the common butterfly. Hope this helps you decide whether your plants are host to orange butterflies or a moth. http://www.ifas.ufl.edu/~insec... |
