|I recently bought some double freesias, tulips and daffodils for my garden box. I put the tulips in the fridge, but I'm not sure if I need to put the freesias and daffodils there too. Would it be appropriate to plant them in the ground in November without a chill?
|Daffodils will benefit from a chill period prior to being planted. Without it, they will bloom too early. Freesias are native to South Africa and will bloom in the spring if planted in the autumn. They don't require prechilling. Freesias are extremely fragrant - enjoy your colorful and fragrant spring!
