I have been hearing about what's called double impatiens, but have found no information. Could
you provide me with the proper name and information on this annual?

These lovely plants are sometimes referred to as double, sometimes as "rose" type impatiens. They are hybrid varieties of impatiens and can be found as seed or as started plants. "Rose Parade" for example is listed both ways in the 1999 Burpee Catalog on page 14, although plants are only shipped in spring. (You may order a Burpee catalog or verify availablility/order year round at 1-800-888-1447). The plants are grown just as for the traditional single forms of impatiens. Enjoy!
