My neighbor has a camper in his driveway and I want to block this view. I am planning on cutting out a 32' section from my driveway and the width would be 18'. What is a good hedge to choose? Something that grows high and can be trimmed to a narrow width. I was thinking of the Carolina cherry, But I think this would be to wide. What do you think?

There are lots of choices for a narrow, tall, evergreen hedge. Bamboo, especially if the roots are contained, would make an excellent screen. Glossy Abelia, Escallonia, Nerium (Oleander), Privet and Thuja are also good choices. Another approach is to build a trellis and plant some vines. Honeysuckle, Bougainvillea, Jasmine, Passiflora or even grape vines would provide privacy and the added bonus of seasonal flowers.
