I have 2 Sugar Maple trees that are both 8 years old. In the Fall the leaves turn brown and drop off. I thought they would turn a beautiful yellow/orange. I do not fertilize them at all. Are the trees too young, or do you think something is wrong with them? |
In some cases the fall color display is dependent on the weather that year, in other cases the individual trees determine the quality of the color. However, in my experience true sugar maples should still turn yellow. If they have turned brown every year, perhaps you have a different type of maple. |
