You can transplant your aloe now. Provide full sun to light shade in well-draining soil. Dig a hole larger than the root mass and refil partially. This will loosen the soil, providing good drainage, and giving the roots an opportunity to explore. Unpot the plant and allow the roots to stretch out in a natural fashion. Place so the crown of the plant is at the same soil level as it was growing in the container. Then gently firm soil all around the roots. Water well to eliminate any air pockets around the roots.

Aloe's need very little water once established, but water regularly until you see new growth.
