What is a cat-faced tomato? A problem with fertilization?

Puckering and scarring at the blossom end of the fruit is called catfacing. Cool and cloudy weather during blooming may cause the blossom to stick to the young, developing fruit, resulting in malformation. Damage from the herbicide 2, 4-D may also cause distortion, so if you use it, use with care!
